Roman Road

Write it in your bible!!

Pastor Chuck mentioned the 'Roman Road' yesterday in his teaching.  He suggested we all write these verses in our bible so they are at hand when we need them.  It really shouldn't be 'if' we need them but 'when' we need them.  There are probably many who have never heard the term or knew the verses so I wanted to post them.  I did a little searching and looking and found out there are a couple variations on this.  So, a couple of these may not look familiar if you've seen it in the past.

Romans 1:20-21

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Romans 3:23

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 5:8

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:12

Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned-

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord

Romans 10:9-10

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:13

For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."

Romans 11:36:

For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever.

I happened to be listening to a podcast about evangelism while I was writing this.  The pastor said, "Obedience is a reason to evangelize but a love for the lost is a better reason.  Silence is guilt and sin."

A recent poll showed 1/2 of 1% of Americans think there is even the slightest chance they could end up in hell.  Share the Roman Road with someone today.
