This is a clip from a British talent show.
In case you miss it, she says she is 47 years old.
She's never been on a date and never kissed a man.
Can she sing?
Everyone in the audience thought it was a joke along with the judges.
Our culture has programmed us to know what a singer should look like, dress like, etc.
We are so quick to judge based on our programming. She really messed up everyone's preconcieved notion.
I'm glad she got her moment of glory, she deserved it!! Maybe we'll see more of her as she continues in the competition.
